Tab Sweep - JBoss
Dec 4th, 2008 by sharps
There’s a podcast on DZone with Greg Hinkle on JOPR / JBoss Operations Network (JON) and Application Management.
Heiko Rupp has published a guide to writing plugins for JOPR / JON.
It looks like SpringSource had their annual developer event this week; Spring are well respected for their technology - but their marketing team seem to be stuck in 2002 - Andrew Rubinger has a perspective.
Gavin King has an update on the progress of the WebBeans spec. (aka JSR-299) public review - it’s clear that WebBeans will really change the way Java EE is perceived.
Many of the components that comprise JBoss AS 5 and the future EAP 5.0 are starting to coalesce. I’ll write a fuller post over the weekend but here are some of the highlights :
I’m afraid yon Andrew Rubinger’s argument lost all credibility to minute he uttered “fuck you with a rake”. Same reason people ignore Hari - if you can’t make an argument with resorting to that sort of thing, then don’t bother.
Kenny, I think Hani would be offended - he’d never write anything with such a low “profanity : word ratio”
@Kenny:
The vulgarity is purely artistic license, I use it as a to keep folks awake as a humor device. Note how it doesn’t impact the validity of my arguments.
Thank you for your input, I’ll take it into account in the future.
S,
